I’ve been a client on/off at this salon for about 3 years and usually saw Megan, who always did great! Since she left, I decided to book with Maryann. I arrived 10 mins early & checked in with someone at the desk, but ended up waiting a long time. When Maryann finally acknowledged me, she made excuses, wrongly assuming I was late/didn't speak to anyone when I came in (which kind of irritated me). I’d have preferred she just apologized and moved on. Though there was a delay, she did a nice job on my hair & was knowledgeable, so I didn't raise any concerns. I went in for a reiki session with Gazmyne. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. And left feeling even better. It was my first time going in for something like that and it was like nothing I ever experienced before. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
I went in Saturday for a haircut and brow wax with MaryAnnShe was wonderful! She spent a good while talking to me about what I wanted while feeling my hair to know the texture, thickness, etc. She explained why what the internet had said would be "low maintenance" wouldn't actually be easy for my hair, and offered other solutions. I walled out with a cut that looks great and has been super easy to style--exactly what I was looking for.For my brows: normally, I break out really badly after a wax, with redness and swelling for 2 days followed by about a week of breakout.
