I would highly recommend SDUIH to anyone in the Sioux Falls area. The staff is friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. They also offer great community support & free local events for anyone looking to get in touch with the indigenous culture & other learning opportunities. The appointments are easily booked, the providers are very helpful & it just really just feels like a big supportive family.

I am soooo Thankful for SDUIH. There were so many supportive women and men; that helped my 3 week old son & I, get a place to stay & food. I truly don't know where we would be. I'm still crying good tears for the kindness and compassion, we received since we were abandoned, told to come to Sioux Falls after fleeing a Domestic Violence situation. I had nothing but our clothes and everything my new preemie baby needed; to be comfortable. We ate, took a bath, and i was able to sleep... I didn't have to be on Guard or have to be ready to leave at any moment. I know our stay is only until Wednesday Morning but I am soooo Thankful!!! Hopefully Tuesday Morning, we are able to find a more permanent living situation. I am anxious to hit the ground running. Housing, Job, Vehicle, and the opportunity to give back, for everything... Very helpful and understanding of your health. Staff are professional. A family member who is uninsured used their services because it was totally affordable!
