The entire staff at Vision Source in Hot Springs is like a big family and they treat their patients like family. Dr Wilkensen is not simply an Optometrist but a Healthcare Provider who loves his job and helping people. He goes above and beyond and especially in emergencies squeezes you into an already busy schedule to make sure you’re taken care of. He spends time really listening to the issues; he may go research if he doesn’t have the answer; and he doesn’t give up in trying to find ways to help. I had an exceptional experience. Staff were very friendly and the doctor spent a lot of time explaining my eye problem and how to care for it I wouldn't go anywhere else if I was a permanent resident in Hot Springs.
Fantastic expertise and high-tech analytic equipment plus an excellent supporting staff have saved my vision from further deterioration; they have slowed my macular degeneration to a near standstill. Thank you, Dr. W and staff!!
