“On Friday evening, I accidentally burned myself on the leg. My wound became infected and in need of treatment. I was treated the past two evenings by the ER staff. I have never had a better ER experience. Living in a large urban area for ten years, I got used to some pretty rough ER experiences. I sometimes had to wait for hours. Sometimes the staff were inattentive or unkind. But here in Eagle Butte, things were totally different. The doctor and nursing staff were competent and personable. I feel like they are my new friends now! And the treatment they prescribed is keeping the infection under control. I am very lucky to be living in a place so close to such an excellent emergency care center, with such skilled personnel. It’s good to live in Eagle Butte!“
