“I made an appointment for a new client haircut with Chalsey while in the Deadwood/Lead area on vacation. I’ve been trimming my own hair for a few years and was on the verge of doing it again!! We discussed what I had in mind before she started the cut and she conferred with me periodically during the cut. When she was done, I had a properly layered, easy-to-maintain style, with my self-trimming sins “blended” into my new cut where necessary. (Sadly, you can’t lengthen sections of hair that have been inexpertly “chopped” too short!! 😏). When I told Chalsey that I had hoped to also have highlights done she checked her schedule, was ultimately able to get me in the following day, and I now have a naturally sun-kissed look to go with my new style!!! We had fun chatting during both of my appointments; it felt like we had known each other for more than just one or two days, and I even brought my little fur baby with me the second day to meet Chalsey’s laidback dog Bingo. Thanks, Chalsey, for making my time with you such a blast and success!!😊 And I will take under consideration the suggestion that I hide my scissors!! 🤣 P.S. Thank you, Chalsey, for the final tweak to my cut. Just what it needed!!!❤😊”
