Our father moved to Avantara Clark in 2022. He had suffered a severe stroke and needed skilled nursing care. I am forever grateful to the staff for providing our dad excellent care and a safe and truly loving place to live out his years. The facility was always clean, never smelling unpleasant. While he was there both the interior and exterior of the building was repainted and upgraded. I ate the same food the residents did, and I found it to be quite good. Staff from every department loved on our dad, making me feel secure in having him live in a place 3 hours away from me. Whenever he had a health situation they were certain to call me immediately. When I was getting close to going home after being rehabilitated from multiple surgeries, I was wondering how long it would be before i started missing the great people there after I went home. As soon as I walked out the door, after taking one step, I was already missing the great people at Avantara.Clark SD
