My wife and I had been happy with our home, auto, & motorcycle insurance carriers that we’d had for the last 2 years, but we decided to shop around when it came time for our policies to renew this Spring. This was primarily due to the lackadaisical replies that I received from our existing agent in response to my inquiries about any reductions or credits for future home insurance premiums, in consideration of a new roof we had put on our home in the middle of the current term (there was no related claim, just old age).
