I used Sandy’s on Dorchester for many years but recently stopped taking my clothes there when they charged me an extra $5 to dry clean the cotton belt I forgot to remove from the dress I dropped off.
I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of; it left a sour taste in my mouth and I haven’t been back.

I gave them a call and they confirmed that they do not use harmful chemicals anymore and haven't for years, they are an environmentally responsible dry cleaners. Took my "Dry clean only" comforter to them and was very happy with the price and service.
