Unfortunately I had to spend a week here. The first day was spent in the hall of the ER. It was horrible. There was a man with Covid placed very close. I understand that many that go to the ER are addicted to drugs but I spent hours In severe pain before even Tylenol was offered. Then hours before anything else was offered and I was moved to a room. The entire week was made harder than need be. One particular nurse that I had was particularly horrible. She was former army trained but I can't imagine that she had any true nursing training. Being taken down for an X-ray was particularly terrible. As I was left in a cold hallway with people passing by both before and after. I tried using the call button a couple times but no one came. Lastly, the food was like cardboard. I will say it seemed prepared with care but when you start with the worst ingredients and use no seasoning it is hopeless. A regular diet should be a regular diet and not fake foods.

The staff in the ED are terrible and have zero empathy for their patients. It seems like they are their solely to collect a check. They don't seem to realize the word CARE! in the word Medical Care. Very rude and the space is very dirty would not recommend this hospital if you want help.

WORST ER I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. Understaffed, poor communication, super crowded and very noisy. The male triage nurse was semi recumbent over two chairs. He spent perhaps 30 seconds reviewing the paperwork from the community hospital I was referred from. His reply to me indicated he didn't listen to a word that I said. I went to the ER for MRI and Cardiac Ultrasound after having a cardiac ablation two days before to rule out a clot due to symptoms of partial vision loss. I stated I was there for a MRI to each person i talked to. I was at the ER for almost 7 hrs waiting before i was told there wasn't an MRI tech in the hospital since 4pm. So, the entire time I was waiting, there was no one to do the MRI--and no one told me. Had I known this, I would have gone to another ER in Greenville. This was April of this year- the staff was not wearing masks!!!! When I got to the hospital room after 9 hours of waiting, I was doors away from patients with active covid. My nurses on the hospital floor were excellent. The Hospitalists were excellent and kind once I saw them--but it took far too long. I called X3 to voice my concerns and complaints about the ER and no one ever called me back--it appears that's how much they care about improving things. I was surprised that they leave this task to a nonprofessional. The food service was atrocious. They brought mostly foods I said I could not tolerate due to food allergies. Although I had a good experience days before with my cardiac surgery, I have changed doctors and hospitals as I never want to be at their mercy again. I wish I had read reviews before choosing this hospital for surgery.
