I have been going to L.A.B. for years! The owner took time to listen to my requests and would provide great suggestions when a sample hairstyle is requested. The stylists in the shop are experienced and gentle. They can complete braids in a variety of styles with synthetic and human hair, curly or straight, for male or female clients. While having my hair braided, I've seen them confidently braid a variety of hair textures and lengths. Enjoy the music and vibes; the atmosphere adds to the authentic cultural experience.
Omba took care of my locs in a last minute request while I'm in town. He did a fantastic job and even took care of some much needed maintenance that I didn't ask for but it helped my hair look much better. I live in California but would happily visit the shop again when I'm here.
This the 2nd time I come here and it just get better and better. I so love what they do for me and how professional and perfect my hair is when I leave. Trust me, i inspect the work I get done when it comes to hair and nails and this is where I belong. The service is just outstanding like I had all 3 girls at the fknishing touch. You just feel amazing with them and they truly enjoy what they do so that alone creates a feeling in the atmosphere that will bring you back for sure I wish i could give 10 stars.
