U really like Dr. Farr but he doesnt know enough about my condition. I continue to see them due to my disability ins. I dont enjoy the wait in the waiting room either but the staff is very nice and accommodating.
I have been going here for 5 years. Yes they are busy, yes you may have to wait. Not greed, they are the ONLY retina specialists in the area. They have emergencies and emergency surgeries. They also have doctors that will call you back within 3 minutes at 2 am Saturday morning and meet you at the office Saturday am if you are in pain.
What an amazing office!! My mom woke up with a black field of vision. Her regular dr would not even return her calls. This office not only worked her in, but they treated her extremely kindly and thoroughly. We did have to wait in the lobby for quite a while, but they were short staffed the day we went in, and they were working her in. Dr. Tucker took a long time with my mom and answered all of her questions. He nor his staff talked to her like she was a bother. All questions were answered in terms that my mom could understand. OUTSTANDING experience.
