Definitely a true salon experience! I have been natural for years and I enjoy the atmosphere and professionalism. I was greeted by the owner, Mona Lisa, she made sure that I was knowledgeable about the status of my hair and how to maintain it. Already booked my next 2 appointments. Thanks Mrs. Mona!
I've been coming to the owner of this salon (Mona Lisa) for about 7 years now. She used to do my extensions (braids), but now she also does my natural hair. Since I suffered from alopecia and lost over 50% of my hair, I've been very particular about who I let do my hair. I did my "big chop" 7 months ago and now I have the same length hair I had when I relaxed (shoulder length). Mona Lisa has been with me every step of the way, coaching me on how to take care of my newly growing natural hair. While natural hair is her specialty, she also does relaxed hair, weave extensions, braid extensions, up-dos, and everything else you can do with African-American hair. Plus the prices are cheaper than what they are in nearby Charlotte.
