The gentlemen who work here are some of the nicest, most knowledgable people I've ever met. They not only helped me pick out a bass guitar that worked for me, but they also set me up with all the gear I would need to really start playing. I can't thank them enough and would absolutely recommend Music Co-op to any newcomers like myself who didn't know where to start.

Service was friendly and helpful. Fair pricing on quality instruments and accessories. I'll certainly be returning when I am in the area. Always try local shops while on vacation, I was very pleased.

I used the Music Co-Op to purchase a new Fender American Pro II Stratocaster this summer. My experience with Mike and the Sweetwater folks was outstanding from start to finish. An absolutely perfect process. The guitar had to be shipped to my summer location (San Diego, CA) and Mike took the lead in ensuring that the instrument got to where it was supposed to go. It arrived in California with the shipping material fully intact. When I opened the hardshell case, I thought I heard a choir of angels singing arias over my shoulder. The guitar, in Dark Star paint with a maple neck, arrived in perfect shape. Not a scratch, not so much as a smudge on the finish. Just fantastic. I've been taking lessons from Mike for months, and I have found him to be an inspiring, highly motivational instructor. You put in the practice time, just like he says, using the techniques he demonstrates, and you will improve dramatically. The guy has changed how I listen to music, and has ignited a passion inside my noggin. Great dude, great store, great results. You cannot go wrong here.
