A Second Opinion Saved Us $6000!Last summer our AC was working find. We asked a recommended ac repair man to service it and give it a tuneup for the summer. After checking it out he said that the air handler was shot, and he recommend we buy an entire unit to get a better warranty. We were totally willing to do it, but my wife said, "Let's just get a second opinion to be sure." I got on Yelp and found Riggins Heating & Air Condition. James came out and told us that our ac was just fine. No need to get a new one. Fast forward one year. We are in the middle of a hot summer and our "broken" ac is still pumping out cool air! Wanted to set up routine maintenance on my fairly new Lennox system -- was not experiencing a problem. James came out the next day and did a quick check, pointed out a couple of little things of note, flushed the drain line, and offered his hand to shake -- no charge!
