“I have been to Salt for haircuts many times. I took my daughter for a back to school cut. We went home and she just didn’t love the haircut. She looked cute but her hair just wasn’t sitting right. I called to book another appointment to fix it and thin it out a little more. The owner Jaimee worked us in that same day. She took an hour with us thinning and lining her hair up and was super kind. “I went in looking for an asymmetrical haircut, which I'd had prior trouble finding stylists that could accomplish it. When I went into the establishment, I was greeted and offered a beverage (which I politely declined) before taking a seat in their waiting area. I wasn't so confident at first based solely on the vibe check of the place (first impressions were kind of judge-y, as I caught a lot of silent glances my way, and my appearance definitely didn't match with the kind of clientele that they had in there at the time), but then I got to meet my stylist Laura. She has been so amazing sending us product suggestions and being very gracious when I fail to grease his hair enough.

These pictures are from his first visit but we’ve been coming for several months now. His hair has grown so much and it’s now locked. I’m so glad we started in the winter to make his hair easier for the summer.

The atmosphere is so friendly and calming. I sometimes wait in the hall with my little one or walk down the street to kill time; while my big one gets to experience the barber shop.

The barber is also so incredibly nice and does a great job.“
