Great experience. They took me right away washed my clippings and put in my hair a unique way but they stayed in. Mad I'm just finding out about them when I'm heading back up north. If you want a Dominican blow out in Charleston I highly recommend.

I've been natural for almost 3yrs now and have my blowouts (1 per yr) done at Diva Latina. I LOVE it every time!!! It just really feels like I went to my mommas house and got my hair laid. They are friendly (even if you dont speak spanish), and my hair looks bomb! I also want to mention that with nightly wrapping in a silk bonnet my hair stayed straight for almost 2 weeks (it could've gone longer but I was wanting to wash it and wear my curls), soon as I hit water and conditioner to my hair it reverted back instantly everytime with NO hear damage. This place is amazing and I highly recommend. Only drawback for those that are not used to dominican salons and want to make an appointment...not possible. Because of that you need to either strategically pick what time you go, or plan to wait/be there for 2-4hrs +. Over the holiday season I've literally waited for 3hrs before even being seen. But, honestly I'm happy for them that they are busy!! Its not their fault I lacked to plan and came at 3pm on new years eve lol!!

If you need to get your hair done last minute, and have time to wait, this is a good option. The shampoo girl is a little rough combing out your hair. Ely, the lady with the curly hair made me give this business 5 stars because she is great with blowing out hair, and she is quite friendly. She made my hair look great.
