I've tried meditating at home using YouTube to no avail. Meanwhile the noisy instagram aunties noticed my searches and sent me to Kelly Harvey. I joined Kelly and several other like minded people for an afternoon celebrating the equinox. We set our intentions, sipped tea, journaled, and enjoyed a very relaxing sound bath. It was just what I needed and excited for my back to school race to slow so I can join again for a tuneup. I now find myself listening to a variety of sound baths or singing bowls on YouTube when I feel stressed or want/need the sound to help with meditation. I had the most amazing experience with Keirsten at Koven for my cut and color! Not only did she do a phenomenal job on my hair, I enjoyed getting to know her and the beautiful space! They are unique in that they are more than just a hair studio, but a place that offers yoga and various other community building events as well! Check them out! You won't be disappointed.
