Wachesaw East Golf Club is a beautiful golf course known for its plush fairways and nice greens. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the free range balls provided before play, which is a plus for any golfer. Many guests describe the course layout as really fun and challenging, making it suitable for both experienced players and those who only play once a year. The greens are reportedly healing well and should be back to perfect soon. However, some guests have noted discomfort during their game due to maintenance activities, such as a lawnmower following closely behind. There have also been concerns about staffing, particularly at the bar and for beverage service on the course, although the beer cart typically shows up every three holes for those in need of additional beverages and snacks. Despite these issues, many guests enjoyed their experience and would consider returning. The club also features indoor and outdoor pools, making it a great base for excursions.
Course is in wonderful shape. Staff were very helpful. Hardly any OB, but tight narrow fairways. Greens are quick and firm, so spend an extra few minutes on the practice greens. Can't wait to play it again!
A nice course that is well maintained. It rained the night before our early afternoon arrival - and you can tell the course doesn't drain very well as it was cart path only, the bunkers held water and the grounds were a little wet. We rented clubs which were brand new, but very pricey. Friendly staff and reasonable greens fees.
Hidden gem in Murrells Inlet. Have now played this course twice this year and it was in great condition both times. When i played last week, i had only gotten 4 holes in before it began lightning and raining. I went into the pro shop and Bill was behind the desk and gave me a raincheck for 18 holes which i thought was generous, since many courses in MB would have only offered 9. I came back a few days later and got my full round in the hot sun and humidity. Great customer service and an underrated/challenging Golf Course!
