An absolutely first class nursery. She claims that the roses are one gallons but they are often larger. She also has some roses that you cannot get anywhere else or are very hard to find. She is excellent about responding to emails, and her prices are exceedingly reasonable. In fact, they are much lower for much larger roses. Over the years she has become my supplier of first choice, and I have been growing roses for over 20 years. She has old garden roses as well as garden roses. If you are looking for something and do not see it listed - ask!! The rose below was her suggestion!
Not only have I been extremely satisfied with both the roses that I purchased last year and the ones that I purchased at this year's first open house but Roses Unlimited goes above and beyond for customer service. I live nearly an hour away and sadly when I attended the open house this spring, I happened to leave behind a green notebook with valuable notes, I wrote it off as lost but today I came home to find that these marvelous people had taken the time to mail me the notebook :-)
My favorite rose bush died after I tried to transplant it in my yard. I was devastated over the loss because we had it for 20+ years and it had such delicate and beautiful blooms. I was referred to Roses Unlimited because no nurseries in my home state of California carried the JACling First Kiss any longer. After corresponding via email, Pat Henry took the time to verify what I was looking for and ultimately shipped a gorgeous, healthy JACling to me. It's been two years and the rose bush is flourishing. Thank you to Pat and Roses Unlimited for giving us back our favorite rose!
