We had used other driving schools in Chapin and Irmo for our two older teens with mixed results, so I decided to try a different one for our youngest. Found all the positive reviews for Mr. Zimmer and gave him a try. We were very pleased. He is a great teacher and puts the learner at ease with humor and kindness. Great experience.

Highly recommended Dutch Fork Driving School.My Learning experience with Dutch Fork Driving School was awesome.Mr.Richard Zimmer is an excellent teacher very professional nice and funny instructor.I am so glad i went Dutch Fork driving school for my lesson and test and i got my drivers license today happiest day ever!

Dutch Fork Driving School offers driver instruction for teens and adults in the Irmo, Ballentine, Chapin and outlying areas. Certified to administer the actual road test in lieu of having a DMV examiner! In-person class is normally scheduled on the weekend and instructor driving is by appointment only. Please consult our website, or call us for more information. We have two choices for student cars, the all electric 2018 Honda Clarity, and a 2012 Mazda Miata, each equipped with automatic transmission and dual brake pedal. Our standard driving course consists of 8 hours in the classroom and 6 hours driving with the instructor.
