Jon trained our 6 month old Irish Setter basic obedience for 2 weeks and advanced basic for 2 weeks. He did a great job and we are very pleased with the results. We have used Upstate Dog Training and Pet Resort in the past and have always had a great experience. Super friendly staff, clean and safe facility. Overall great service and experience.
We chose Upstate Dog Training & Pet Resort based on the recommendation of a good friend and we are glad we did. Our miniature poodle was ready for basic training, 3 week in kennel, and Rene was perfect for him. She clearly loves dogs and we witnessed it firsthand when she reviewed the week’s lesson so we could practice at home. He was attentive to her and listened and obeyed her commands. One of the best signs that he was in the right place was him jumping into her arms when we returned him for his last week of training. Highly recommend.
Our 3 dogs were having trouble with establishing the alpha after our 20 year old cat passed away. Jared & his team were quick to listen to our concerns & make a plan to re-establish the humans as the alphas. As a result, the dogs are happier, less anxious, and more obedient than they were even before the problem began. I would highly recommend the time & money spent here! Our lives are much better as a result, and yours will too, ONLY if you do the homework!!
