Music on Mitchell is the place to go in Greenville to learn any style of music and any instrument. The teachers are top notch, the best musicians in the industry, and truly good people. Their skills and teaching methods are wonderful. One teacher, Matt, is patient, fun, and positive, teaching a student from age 5 until they became a nationally recognized jazz guitarist playing major festivals at only 15. Another teacher, Shannon, also provides wonderful instruction. Students appreciate the communication, flexibility, and professionalism of Matt and all the staff. One student even sang and played at the May recital, gaining the confidence needed after many years. It is by far the best place in the South Carolina Upstate and the Southeast.
Our son has taken lessons at Music on Mitchell for over a year now. We love Matt! He’s one of the best teachers I’ve witnessed - patient, fun, and positive. He’s a true professional!
