I can't say enough good things about my experience here. The problem was that the speakers no longer worked on my fairly new desktop, but they did work on an older laptop. I spent 2-3 hours trying to troubleshoot the problem with no luck. I brought the tower and speakers in. ***EDIT I have since been able to make contact with the person I purchased the laptop from, and they were very fair with me!***
I made a grave mistake by purchasing a used gaming laptop from a lady on Facebook Marketplace. It was giving me tons of Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). The lady blocked me on Facebook the moment after I handed her the cash and walked away with the laptop. I tried to message her to see about getting a refund, but to no avail. I decided to bring it to a computer repair shop, and chose Computer Tech Services, as they have great reviews and Greg has been doing this work for decades.
For anyone craving a flawless computer repair coupled with a colorful monologue on the woes of modern society, Computer – Tech – Services is a must-visit. My machine was expertly fixed, and I was treated to an unprompted 40-minute symposium on why gamers, smartphone addicts, and shady contractors are the bane of existence as well as educated on the best way to be an arsonist when you get screwed over by said contractors. As a gamer and contractor myself, the irony wasn’t lost on me. Five stars for the repair job, and a bonus star for the unexpected life coaching.
