About Cherokee Medical Center
Cherokee Medical Center is a 125-bed acute care facility in Gaffney, South Carolina. Everyone at Cherokee was very caring and responsive. The nursing staff and support staff were incredibly attentive. Best patient care around. The nursing staff is so kind and caring. The Food Service was absolutely amazing, better than most restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the doctor ran an assortment of tests. The nurse called in a prescription close to the motel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The lab had the best people to meet. From the time you walk in, you are met with the sweetest lady in the outpatient desk area. The lab staff is always bright and funny. The radiology department ladies are also nice. The care and compassion was excellent. The nurses and support staff are very friendly and willing to help in any way needed. Cherokee Medical Center has good healthcare workers who care about patients.

I had a post-op complication. I was brought in via emergency transport. The charge nurse was in my room as I entered on a gurney. The ER doctor came in exactly 2 minutes later. They examined me, gave me options and I gave permission for medical. The attending ER text were beyond professional.
They had me fixed up and I was out the door in 90 minutes. Everyone was professional from entry to exit. I have no issues whatsoever.
I was skeptical about bringing my sick mom here becasue of the negative reviews but I am so glad I did not let that stop me! From the moment we stepped in the door, this ER staff has went over and beyond to help my mom. I appreciate each and everyone, they have treated her with the best medical care possible.
