Carolina Springs is a great public golf facility. The staff is always friendly and prices are very affordable. There are a few areas of the course need some TLC and attention, like the practice green, but for the most part it’s a great place to go get a quick round in.

Wonderful course and friendly people. Expect delays due to so many players. Beware of golfers who step up to the first tee box at your reserved time. Usually it is monitored. But yesterday it was not. Two parties jumped in front of us on the front nine and then on the back nine at # 10. Our foursome was therefore forced to play our 18 holes in over 5 hours. But all-in-all, great place to play golf!

Great value for your money. Generally greens are in good shape, similar for tees and fairways. There is good sand in the sand bunkers, unlike others who have this coarse sand that packs to almost hardpan. Carts are new with GPS, touchscreen, course tracking, distances, scorecard, etc. (I've seen the same system in FL at some relatively pricey courses). From the white tees this course plays a little long, which is OK. It'll stretch you. The average golfer hitting a 230+ driver off the tee will often have 150-170 yards to the green on par 4's. Par 3's are similarly long, about 165-200 yards. Might play this one from the green tees next time. This course is a bit of a drive...read full review
