About Florence Family YMCA

The pool has been a life saver for me !! I love to swim and I am a bit disabled but the pool is wonderful, water class with Jamie is great - the guards are amazing and friendly - all the staff is great ! Thanks for making the Y such a great place to come to !!
Swimming fun, my kids now grandson have enjoyed the variety of sport options. Fields can be muddy and a mess to play on, Mosquitoes can be a problem with the woods. Crazy parking. I do wish they had more options to purchasing a membership. Overall a safe clean environment with clean bathrooms.
I can't believe that I have lived here for almost 20 years and just found this gem! My kids, teenage daughter and I all love coming here! I love that I can work out and have a place to take my kids until I finish! That alone is priceless! The pools are amazing and although there's a lot of complaints about having to take a swim test and wear a swim band/necklace if you're under 12, I however think it's a great idea and in return helps the lifeguards do their best job keeping the children safe!
