Best dentist in the upstate! The dentist and staff are knowledgeable and professional!
I had been experiencing increasingly severe tooth pain for over a week (a couple of weeks ago), and was between dentists as my previous dentist had retired since my last visit. I solicited recommendations for Easley area dentists from my Facebook friends and Doctor Strange’s name was mentioned more than once. I called his office on a Monday morning and when they heard what I was dealing with said they could see me that day. Doctor Strange and his staff were awesome. Took some X-rays, looked at the tooth (which I had thought might be cracked, but which Doctor Strange thought could just be infected), and we talked at length about the possible treatment options going forward if it WERE cracked. First, however, he wanted me to try some antibiotics to see if it was an infection. Well, the next day after just two antibiotic pills, the tooth had almost completely stopped hurting and by the end of the week I was back to normal. I’ve now found my new dentist and while I can’t say I look forward to the next time I see him, I’m confident that when I do I’ll be seeing someone I can trust.
Dr. Strange is a rare find in a hometown dentist. He has the stability of the reminiscent family dentist with newest technology and proven technique acquired only through experience. I have never felt any pain or discomfort even when a required extraction was necessary followed by extensive repair procedures. He is not an “auto-pilot” dentist as it was obvious he gave serious thought to my restorative plan tailored to me specifically. He did not take the “easy” approach or even the most “expensive” but the perfect approach for this new patient. Several years later after my first visit, I find myself reviewing “My Dentist” and am even more fond of his entire “family practice” than I was in the beginning. NOTE: Please be aware of “chain dentistry”. I found out the hard way when living in a different town. Their Dentists are OFTEN new graduates creating a swift revolving door effect resulting in no continuity of treatment or accountability. Dr. Strange is a member of our Easley community and has been. As a person whose family has been here since the 1930s, I highly recommend him and his staff as they have certainly bettered my quality of life.
