About Due West Family Medicine
Due West Family Medicine is a healthcare provider that receives mixed reviews. Patients appreciate the accessible facility and feel genuinely cared for during each visit. The staff, including front desk personnel, nurses, and providers like Dr. Courtney Burton, are described as friendly, attentive, and helpful, creating a warm, family-like environment. Patients value the doctors’ willingness to listen carefully to concerns and their openness to consulting with other providers when needed, which demonstrates a commitment to thorough care. Many praise the clinic’s communication, noting that doctors are communicative and easy to work with. However, recent issues have been reported since the practice was bought out by a hospital. Some patients experience frustration with administrative delays, such as prescriptions not being sent correctly or on time, despite multiple follow-ups. There are also concerns about long wait times and the clinic being overworked. Despite these challenges, patients still feel confident in the care they receive and recommend the practice. Overall, Due West Family Medicine is seen as a caring, approachable, and dependable healthcare facility, though recent administrative and scheduling issues have impacted the experience for some.
Since they have been bought out by self hospital things aren't good. No one likes going to the doctor but I at least know I’ll be taken seriously here. I’m pretty young and my body is pretty weird in the way it reacts to things and the illnesses it has, but Dr. Angel has always tried her best, and when she hasn’t known what to do, she consulted with another provider of mine more familiar with EDS. It takes a lot more courage to take advice from someone else despite being an experienced doctor than it is to be stubborn, and I appreciate her for it, seriously. I think the only downside is that this clinic seems very overworked, so it can take a while to be seen.
Love Dr Leslie and staff!!! They take lots of time with me and really seem to care. Dr Leslie listens and values me as a part of the team. She is very smart, knowledgeable yet personable.
