Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club is a welcoming business with fantastic staff, including Rick at the front desk. The golf course is in excellent condition all year round, featuring well-maintained tees, fairways, and greens. It is reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality of the course. The club provides cheap beers and good food, making it a perfect place to relax after a game. The cart paths are heavy, flat sand, a unique and convenient feature. The course has wide fairways and pleasant views, with hazards that require attention but are not overly difficult. The greens are undulated, requiring careful placement based on pin position. Overall, Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club is a hidden gem that is highly recommended, and it is worth playing during a visit to Myrtle Beach.
Greeted at the bagdrop and the golf shop warmly and welcoming by the staff. Very nice practice range! Teed off on time. Course was in very good condition. The fairways were plush and green! All the holes have elevated greens and are large and rolled very smooth. The pace of play was fantastic! This is a true hidden gem. I will be back for sure!
One of the best hidden gems I have come across. Ridiculous piece of property and beautifully designed.
