Some staff are way more helpful than others. The check in process is ridiculous and every time I go it's a hassle to just check into my appointment. PLEASE fix this so I don't have to stand there try to scan a QR code and get through Duo Mobile so I can see a doctor.
CAPS program is nice and very available to students, although they’re incredibly reluctant to diagnose anything or even advise you to seek diagnosis. However, the front desk is so mean. I’ve been a few times over the years and they’ve never seemed even remotely happy. During my first ever visits, they were aggressive and talked down to you like you were stupid if you didn’t know how the place worked or where anything was. I also went in for a medical appointment and the lady who saw me before the doctor was condescending and not comforting to someone already crying due to nerves.
I visited a while ago to inquire about certain health services. The staff were very nice. The building however was kind of dirty. The carpet had a lot of old stains, enough for me to notice. Apart from that not many issues.
One last thing; as I was leaving I almost got hit by one of the university employees speeding on a golf cart. The driver was an older, slender woman wearing a purple employee shirt and glasses. Recently someone mentioned to me that she was almost hit as well by this same individual in the parking lot across from Hendrix. If the university employees could please drive more carefully that would be great. 👍
