“I have been getting licensed massages regularly since the '90s. But one thing I have never done was a lymphatic massage. I was intrigued so I scheduled a 1 hour massage with Carol.

Like I said I've had dozens upon dozens of massages but they were always deep tissue, sports, therapeutic, relaxation, etc.

So even though I sort of knew what to expect, it was definitely everything I expected and more. The focus was not on the muscles but on stimulating the lymph system to drain.

My first impression upon entering was the well-organized and well lit office type waiting area. Carol came out and greeted me warmly and then she took me to I guess what you would call a more comfortable greeting area, where I filled out the standard form.

From there we went to the massage room. It wasn't so different from others in my experience, and it definitely had all the accoutrements! The temperature was perfect. There were wonderful aromas, soft background music playing and muted lighting. The massage table was very comfortable and one thing now that I think about it the head cradle is more comfortable than a lot of the tables I've been on. I hate it when there's not enough padding or if part of my face touches metal like my chin. There was none of that, she had the head cradle perfectly aligned.

Her touch was light and professional. She communicated properly and I did not have to anticipate her moves. She always let me know what was next. She was very thorough and used the correct pressure. I'm super duper triple trooper ticklish on my belly and she worked with me to insure I was comfortable throughout the entire process.

Carol is a very nice lady and it is obvious that she is very knowledgeable about her subject. I don't know how long she's been doing this but I would think she has considerable experience. She is definitely on par with the best of the massage therapists I know.

As she completed each area, for instance an arm, even with the light pressure, I could feel the mild tingling throughout for a few moments after she finished. I'm a holistic health coach and I have been doing my own lymph stimulation for 5 years, sp I was very interested in how she does it. She does it right.
