“I highly recommend Low Country Scapes for landscaping and hardscaping. I found them to be collaborative, patient, very skilled and knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. We moved into Sun City almost two years ago, into a house on property that looked liked it was formerly owned by Ichabod Crane. Everything was old and neglected including the landscaping, irrigation, driveway and walkway. LCS was able to landscape the entire property holistically, such as addressing drainage issues throughout the property. The work they did included the following: 1. Prior to any physical work, Michael from LCS was a Godsend in helping me complete the applications needed for the HOA, no small feat. 2. They addressed drainage issues we had in the front and back by resloping and installing drainage systems. 3. They replaced the ugly, stamped cement driveway with gorgeous pavers from LC Pavers. They replaced the stamped cement porch and front walkway with pavers that curve around the front, and they built a large patio off the lanai with the same pavers. 4. They redesigned the layouts of all plant beds, added topsoil and planted two trees and an array of shrubs and perennials. 6. Added top soil and resodded the entire lawn. 7. Installed a new irrigation system. It looks gorgeous and we’re looking forward to spring and summer when things come back to life. Some FAQs: How was the pricing?: Well it was a lot, but commensurate with the amount of work that was performed. I had gotten multiple quotes from vendors and LCS was competitive. They did not nickel and dime us throughout the project, the quote they gave us up front is what we paid. (To be accurate, we added an additional drainage conduit which increased the cost of work, and we did not use all of the quoted materials which reduced the cost of work.) How are they afterwards?: The work is solid. There have been a couple of very minor/nit issues that occurred after the work was completed, and they have been great at follow up. Would we hire them again?: Absolutely.“
