As a part-time resident of Bluffton, I’ve used Daily Massage for over 10 years. They really are a good value. I am not looking for a fancy day spa, and as such, I get a really good quality consistently firm, deep tissue massage at a fair price. I always do 90 minutes. They really try to get to know you and customize what you want over multiple visits. I tried a few of the masseuses and focused on using a couple of them. I think the fact that one of them is usually available on short notice, and they have extended hours gives me the flexibility I want and need. This was an interesting experience. We selected massage #13, 50 minutes of foot massage and 10 minutes of neck and shoulder.We were seated in the chairs in the lobby, and cold towels that smelled like bleach were placed on our laps and over our eyes. Wasn’t a fan of that part. I took it off. After a quick foot soak with a teabag, the foot massage started. 20 minutes per foot with lotion, a 5 minute dry-off and 10 minutes on the neck and shoulders. Unexpectedly, some leg massaging was thrown in there too. We were done an hour after we walked in. The music was very relaxing, but the man massaging my feet was falling asleep. ? I had a coupon for a free massage because I had 10 visits. No where on this did it say I must pay $20 because their fee went from $30 to $50 for the foot massage. The manager insisted I pay $20! So much for honoring their coupon and customer service. A frustrating end to a a relaxing massage.
