“Where to begin...I the proud owner of a Jaguar F-Type 400/Sport. A real black beauty - less than 340 of them in the US - and only 10K miles on it. Earlier in the year it was involved in a slight front-end fender bender - and I retrieved it almost 5 months later from the Jaguar-approved collision shop. At that time I complained to the body shop about the poor paint job on the hood and front fenders - one would think that in 5 months they could get it correct. I was told that it was a good as it could be - and not wanting to be held for ransom any longer - accepted it as handed over. The front end looked like a 3rd-grader with a spray-can of Krylon had applied the paint and clear-coat. Pretty disheartening for such a special car.
I tried to identify a paint-repair solution and was finally fortunate enough to locate Nick Parker, owner and principal at The Auto Show in Anderson, SC. I can't say enough good things about Nick, his crew, and the work they did to bring the Jag back to better-than-new condition. Nick has the knowledge, experience, and tools to make magic happen. His attention to detail, and true committment to quality yield results that will exceed your expectations. He is punctual, delivers on-time, is honest, and does fabulous work. Moreover, he is a "car guy". He gets it. He understands how the vehicle should look and appreciates all the detailed intricacies.
