Definitely recommend this place! Allison is great! After my initial evaluation Allison was honest enough to admit that I’d be better served going to the Evans location because of my specific needs. I really appreciate that she put pride aside and gave advice to what was best for me as a patient. For someone who has been to a lot of physical therapy, I know this can be hard to come by. For that reason I recommend going to this location. They will do what is best for YOU, not just them. They were also kind enough to be transparent about billing and where they are with insurance which I also greatly appreciated!
Had a great experience post knee replacement surgery. Was seen by Allison 3 days after surgery, then twice weekly for eight weeks. Allison did a great job working with me and encouraging me throughout recovery. I saw weekly improvements throughout recovery. I recommend Peak to anyone post surgery or injury. The entire staff was always friendly and helpful.Thankyou to Allison and the staff at Aiken Peak Rehabilitation.
Had a bucket-handle tear of the outside meniscus in my left knee. I was on crutches 3 weeks prior to surgery and 6 weeks non-load bearing because it was repaired rather than removed. The folks at Peak had me ready to walk again the day the doc said I could, and also told me how I should ease back into it. I'm very happy with the progress I made while at Peak (8 weeks, starting the week after surgery even though I couldn't put weight on the leg). They were also able to answer questions or give guidance on what kinds and amount of soreness/pain, and when I should push through or not. (The doctor's office's response was basically, "If it hurts, take some ibuprofen.")
