This is going to be long one so buckle up. Myself and 2 girls when in for full sets of acrylics. We set up and appointment so they were prepared for 3 sets. We were getting them done before leaving for a 2 week vacation for my daughters sweet 16. Got there on time. We sat for about 30 before starting the 1st set, about 45 to start the 2nd and over an hour to start mine. I noticed the guy was putting full nails on my daughter. When I asked about it, he said it was the same as acrylic and assured me that they wouldn't pop off. The other girl was told she required a manicure. I asked the price for a heads up. He told me it was included. We also had stickers applied. 2 sets of stickers wouldn't hold for what ever reason. 2 of us had eyebrows done. Those were the best part of the service. At check out they charged $55 for my set. Exactly what was expected. They charged $65 for each girls set, $10 for the manicure, and $5 for sticker application, One didn't hold, but they did try to keep them on so I didn't argue that. I asked about the $65 for the girls nails. I was told they used gel x. I told them it wasn't asked for. They knocked off the manicure price. So $70, $70 and $55, plus eyebrows. $219 total. I wasn't happy, but after 2 hours I accepted it. We also had to get home to leave the next morning. 4 days later (while 7 hours away) the girl with the manicures nails were already popping off, the my daughter's were crooked (that I did tell her not to worry, it happens) but stared snagging on everything, and coming off, and I had an infection in my finger. I called and talked to a manager. Explained what was going on. He asked me to come in and let them look at everything. I told him we were out of state, and he gave me a number to send pictures. I did but never heard back. Today I went into the shop. Explained everything. The lady at the desk was stuck on "but the infection is better now right". I showed her pictures of it, and showed her how the skin around my nail was peeling and crusty for the swelling. I had the receipt from it. She brought another lady over. The 2nd lady took my receipt and crumpled it up to throw in the trash. I had her give it back to me. She offered me a $50 gift card for "my trouble" Both girls are unable to have their nails done again for different reasons, so that money went out the window I guess. $50 gift card would barely cover a fill in, much less a redo on mine.
Ellie and Andy are amazing! Great customer service from all staff and cleanliness!
I love coming here! I especially love that they are open on Sundays as that is super convenient. They always do a great job on my nails no matter what my request is. Not only do they do a great job but they are quick too! Not Only do they do nails but they offer other services like waxing, eyebrow tinting and eyelash services. I love coming here and you will too!
