I actually like this store, which surprises even me. ? It's not very big, but is laid out very well. The store and restrooms are clean. It doesn't have much curb appeal (management: do something about your entrance!) but once you get in the store, it's fine. The employees are okay. I've interacted with some who were great...friendly, helpful and courteous. And others who were...not.

Pleasant store, pleasant staff. My only complaint is I wish they had more clothing appropriate for wearing at work. Their buyer has the wrong demographics. That being said...... Since Penney's is only large clothing store in Westerly, I hope everyone will shop there, so they stay open!

There are few places in southern RI to shop for men's clothing. If you are here for the summer or live here all year, JC Penny is still a place to go if you need the basics in men's clothing.
