“Working with NJ & J Builders to build our beach home in 2020 was truly an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Building a custom home, especially a beach home with all of the unique structural and environmental considerations that come with it, can feel overwhelming, but Ken made the entire process seamless, organized, and surprisingly enjoyable.
From our very first meeting, Ken’s level of knowledge and professionalism was evident. He brought an incredible depth of expertise to every stage of the project and was always thoughtful in explaining options, offering recommendations, and helping us make informed decisions. His understanding of the complexities involved in coastal construction gave us tremendous confidence that our home was being built with the highest standards of quality, durability, and craftsmanship.
One of the things we appreciated most was Ken’s exceptional communication. Throughout the entire process, he kept us updated regularly, was incredibly responsive to our questions, and made himself available whenever we needed clarification or guidance. We never felt out of the loop, which made such a significant difference during a project of this scale. His transparency and professionalism created a level of trust that is hard to find.
The personalized attention Ken gave us was another standout aspect of our experience. He truly listened to our ideas, respected our vision, and worked collaboratively with us to bring our dream beach home to life. He made us feel like more than just another project — he genuinely cared about making sure every detail reflected what we wanted and ensured the finished home was exactly what we had envisioned.
The contractors and craftsmen Ken works with are absolutely top-notch. Every aspect of the build reflects superior workmanship, precision, and attention to detail. Even years later, we continue to appreciate the quality of their work and the care that went into every element of our home.
We are beyond grateful to NJ & J Builders for their expertise, integrity, and dedication. They delivered not just a beautiful home, but an experience that exceeded our expectations in every way. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a highly skilled, communicative, and trustworthy design-build team.”
