Customer success is very much lacking here. Scheduled an appt and was asked to wait, which is fine, however, waiting for 25 minutes and then being taken back and told my 1 hr appt is only going to be 30 minutes, even though I pre paid. This person didn't apologize for being behind and then wouldn't try and be willing to be a little late for the next appt since the one prior to me was behind. I would say the atmosphere is fine but the service is very Lacking. Their hair dressers should be more accommodating and even a quick apology for running behind which I didn't get. Please have better customer service for your patrons. I get it's just a "hair cut" and as long as you do a good job, wash, clean etc it would be fine. I won't be coming back. Giving 3 stars b/c it looked clean and the other people were nice enough.
If it was possible to give no stars I would. I saw SHANE last Friday for an updo for my daughters wedding. Being from out of town, I knew I took a chance at an unfamiliar salon, but I did. Truly wish I hadn't. SHANE had no idea how to do an updo, it was evident from the start. He got to me late, tried many times to get the updo started and had to start over, he clearly. was out of his element and instead of reassuring me, he accused me of "hand wringing and huffing and puffing", both complete nonsense. It was going over an hour now and yes, I was getting nervous, it should have taken about 30 minutes! Also, SHANE had me facing away from the mirror the entire time, clearly for a reason, as I was finally turned around, I couldn't believe what a saw. A complete mess, seriously don't even have words to describe it. My mistake not getting a picture because I had to literally 20 minutes to run back to Airbnb and get ready now, I was able to take it all out and salvage it the best I could. DON'T GO TO STRANDS AND DEFINITELY AVOID SHANE!!!!
This place took 3+ hours for an 1.5 hr job and charged more than agreed upon because the stylist put in more product then originally agreed upon. If you have nothing else scheduled for your day and don't mind people taking personal liberties with your hair this is your place.
