I've been to several hearing aide companies over the last few years and Ocean State is by far the best. They are very accommodating! I was given the opportunity to try 3 different pairs of hearing aides because I needed something that would work well in noisy environments. Since the first pair did not work well we tried a second set which worked really well in noise. A newer model just came out a few weeks ago, I asked him about them and he said I don'y carry them but I'll call the company and order a pair for you so you can compare them to the ones you have. Believe me, no hearing aide company does this. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

We were introduced to Michael Lancia and his agency through BC/BS of RI, and so glad we were! My mom is 91 years of age and her hearing needed some looking into. Michael was so welcoming and reassuring from his introduction to the end of the initial appointment. He provided an explanation as he moved through her assessment and then the results. He had a tough patient in front of him, but he managed to convey the importance of hearing clearly and its impact if not on my mom's health and wellness. We are looking forward to the next visit when she is fitted with hearing aides.
His staff were very nice, too!

He's an awesome guy as an Audiologist, but he's a wicked busy man. Dr. Mike Lancia has a fantastic business and cares about helping people to hear as best as can be done. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.
