I was blown away by the fabulous trio from the RI American Red Cross who came to my house today to install a smoke detector/bed shaker so that I (with a cochlear implant in one ear and a hearing aid in the other) have the proper safety mechanisms in place in case of a fire. All of this, including the kindness, professionalism and capability, was free of charge. I'll be making a contribution in thanks for this wonderful service.
