North Smithfield Animal Hospital is a welcoming place for pet checkups. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it a great choice for pet owners. The vet, Dr. Allen, and the vet assistant are patient and informative, answering all questions and providing direct care. They recommend only necessary treatments, ensuring pets receive the best care possible. The waiting room is clean, and appointments are efficient. Many customers appreciate the compassionate care given to their pets, with one mentioning the excellent treatment of their Siamese kitten during a spay procedure. The hospital is known for its great prices compared to larger chains, making it a preferred choice for many families.
The veterinarians are solid, however there is a woman at the front desk, who leaves little to be desired. I actually witnessed her belittle a customer in front of everyone in the waiting room. I felt bad for the poor man. There is a nice woman at the front desk, and a not so nice one, and anyone who has ever been there knows what I am talking about.
Very good, the doctor was extremely nice and honest about my dogs condition and survival chance so I wouldn't waste money on something that was terminal unlike other places that play into your feelings and emotions at the time and try to sell you the world when you already know the outcome, and very empathetic when we eventually put our dog down
I was recommended to North Smithfield animal hospital by my brother 6 years ago. He always had good luck with his two dogs there. They are very compassionate and explain everything that you ask them. Recently our dog Milo had to have some teeth removed and they took such good care of him. Hes going great now. I appreciate your professionalism and kindness to my buddy Milo.
