“I booked an appointment last year with Audrey for my 2 year old Border Collie, Sumo. He is the forth Border Collie that we've owned, so we know the breed well. However, I was having quite a few problems with him. I would describe him as just generally naughty and out of control! I didn't take him places often because he acted like such a jerk it was embarrassing and a hassel. I was very frustrated and needed help.From the first training appointment we had with Audrey I knew she was going to be able to help us. She was wonderful with Sumo. She was kind, but firm and he listened. She was also able to speak to me and explain why he was acting the way that he was, and how we were going to fix it.She didn't start by giving me a list of things to do, or insisting that I spend hours working with him. I have two young children so she understood that I wasn't going to be able to spend hours training him. She told me to work with him 10-15 min a day and I could break it up if I needed to. She gave me some simple homework and told me to be consistent.It was amazing how much he learned between one training appointment to the next. Sumo has changed so much over the last year thanks to the tools and training Audrey has given us both. He has become a different dog and is now a part of the family, rather than a menace to the family.I'm so very grateful for Audrey and her approach to training. She taught me as the owner to train my own dog and I now have a strong bond with him. I'm sure it would have been so much easier for her to train him for me. But, teaching me to train him fixed the problems that WE were having, and I know that I am capable of fixing problems that come up in the future because I now have the training to do so.Thank you Audrey I can now enjoy my dog!“

“Kristen helped us so much with our dog Pearl! We just recently had a baby and our pup was becoming more reactive and showing high anxiety. Kristen taught us how to help Pearl get back to a healthy diet, enrichment, and exercise routine. She was also able to help us learn several training techniques, as well as help us practice engagement and disengagement scenarios. We found the entire process incredibly helpful and professional. We got an online training prior to private lessons and a clear email weekly with action steps along with several training guides and resources for us to refer back to. In addition, Kayla was so helpful. She answered every question sent and also did an amazing job with Pearl’s holiday photos. We have been to other facilities and nothing compares to our experience here. We highly reccomend Modern Dog!“
