Update: ears healed nicely, wish this place was local to us!“
“Went to the meditation group there on Thursday night and definitely be going back. Awesome environment and great people. Thanks Matt“

96 George Waterman Rd, Johnston“I love all the family guy jokes but people need to stop giving it 0 stars. If you can appreciate the fact that they clearly have a sense of humor, don't just turn around and lower their ratings to make basic joke that Peter wasn't there“

39B Greenville Ave, Johnston“Rachael is phenomenal beyond words. I have about six-ish years of experience between different shops and artists and I can genuinely say; Rachael is the most professional, honest (will not copy/paste another artist work, out of respect for them and her art), and dedicated artists out there.
she creates an inviting and judgement free zone for her clients.
I seriously can’t recommend her more/enough to people!
my latest tattoo by Rachael, at Ruthless Ink: my Strawberry Beauty (entire design by Rachael)“

476 Central Ave, Pawtucket“I had set up an appointment with Giulia to get my first ink and I gave her a verbal description of a concept that I had and she made an amazing design from my description. She did an amazing job and I have a feeling that I'll be back for more...“

645 Prospect St, Pawtucket“I luv my beautiful tattoo. It is a clean n well maintained shop. Artist was the utmost professional. Was patient w/me as I was quite squeamish 2 the point of probably acting like a big baby did not get impatient w/me when I had 2 take a few breaks during my session. Since this was my 1st tattoo artist was happy 2 explain every step of the process from start 2 finish. It should've taken an about an hr - hr n 1/2 but bc of my need 2 take a few short breaks it was closer 2 hrs artist did not complain but instead talked me through it the atmosphere of the shop was comfortable n chill. I luv the final it is beautiful. Bc of this artist i was able 2 get subsequent body art n piercings w/way less fear. I would've definitely come back but the us army sent me far away 4 quite a few yrs so all my other ink n body piercings came from shops in New Orleans, Tulsa, n san Antonio. I wish I remembered my artist's name so I could thank her properly!“

77 Burlington St, Providence“John is a very talented and accommodating artist, shop is always clean and tidy as well. 10/10 -Alex“
11AM - 8PM
202 Pulaski Blvd, Bellingham“Josh is my go to, but all the artists work so hard and do dope work! The atmosphere is always so chill, we get silly so if you don’t have a sense of humor maybe not the place for you. It’s like being around friends and family whenever you’re in the shop. Good prices for quality work always! Can’t say enough good things! Josh’s art I can speak on and once I got my first piece with him, I don’t go anywhere else! 10/10 recommend“

21 S Main St, Woonsocket“Coming from Pawtucket, the home of the American Industrial Revolution, I'd never made the trek all the way out to Woonsocket to check the museum out. But my now LA-based daughter was visiting, and wanted to see the Welcome blanket exhibit since her friend had one on display. (I'm not certain how a museum here is the recipient of 330 handmade quilts and blankets - 99 of which are on display - that will be distributed by Dorcas House to new immigrants, but it's pretty cool right? Maybe because southern New England was the center of US cloth manufacture through the early-mid 20th century?) Ad for the Museum itself: the cultural component of this mill community is front and center. The space is set up in a number of immersive dioramas - rooms and areas visitors walk through to get an experience of those who lived there. The first stop is a farm cabin in Quebec in snowy winter where (push the doorbell) a family decides to move south in the hope of a better life working in the mills. In the replica of a French Canadian Catholic Church we read about religious life in America, and sit in pews near the actual mosaic altar boys to learn a bit about the wave of immigration and the mill worker experience, there's a credit union (kind of explains the Bailey Savings & Loan in It's a Wonderful Life). There's a school room, complete with a teacher/priest and books in the desks in French and English. On the stairs to the second floor, pass posters and stories about others groups of immigrants to the area, along with the rooms upstairs: Woonsocket baseball players, tenement houses, mill and factory memorabilia, and a room set up with the equipment workers toiled at. Oh - dint miss the display of a union hall! My daughter buzzes through art museums. We were here for about 2 hours. And then we got to the room with the blankets. Quite a relevant history lesson here!“

541 Armistice Blvd, Pawtucket“I went today and got my 3rd set of earlobe piercings. Place is very clean and organized. My 1st two were when I was a child and a gun was used. The gun was awful very painful and the loud noise as a child was scary. Today’s earlobe piercings (3rd set) were done by Mandy with a needle and it was such a better process. Just a little pinch without the awful gun lol. Mandy was extremely kind, helpful with jewelry selection and informative, told me exactly what she was gonna do before she did it. Thank you so much Mandy for making this an awesome experience!“

She really has a talent and eye for beautiful art. She made sure I was comfortable and was a pleasure to talk with during the tattoo experience. I highly, highly recommend her!!! Her daughter was also lovely once I arrived while awaiting my appointment. You simply cannot go wrong with this studio. These women are genuine artists!“

799 S Main St, Bellingham“I was in and out very quick! I walked in looking to get my firsts and was brought in immediately. My piercer was amazing and thoroughly explained what she was doing before actually doing the piercing. The pricing was also pretty great in comparison for what I was seeing through other places. Only $50 with standard earrings included in the cost. The atmosphere was very clean too, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back to get my seconds! Their provided saline spray to clean my ears wasn’t incredibly expensive too, and even came in a little goodie bag that made me feel very happy :)“
