“I didn’t bring my golden retriever for 12 months to the groomer just because of my anxiety around horror stories of their gorgeous coats being butchered. After much research, I landed on Claudia’s. She was able to get me in in a timely manner and very friendly. Her place is clean and welcoming. She communicated very well regarding what to expect and what she suggested based on her experience with the breed. My dog seemed to have felt very comfortable there. He came home smelling and looking oh so handsome and no shedding. We will most certainly be back.“

“Dr Richard Mello is the owner & vet. He is very dedicated to his patients & although he retired many years ago..he is still there treating his patients most days.WAH is very busy and the worldwide shortage of vets does not help. They are overwhelmed by people bringing their babies to them. They are often booked at least a month out for routine visits. They do their best to accommodate emergency calls. WAH tries to keep their fees reasonable and will work out a payment plan with you if you're honest!Dr Mello's daughter, Dr Jodi is also an experienced excellent vet there for many years. I've heard another long time vet is retiring soon. They have reduced their hours since COVID to Monday- Friday.I highly recommend WAH.“

“My kitties were safe and loved with the folks at Purrs and Paws. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my babies to be. Two of my kitties stayed for a month while I awaited for our new home to become available for move-in. I have four kitties and the hotel where I lived temporarily only allow me two. Purrs and Paws were quick to allow my two babies to find shelter. I'll definitely be boarding my babies here again and telling everyone I can how great it is here! Purrs and Paws is the BEST!“

“Linda is amazing and always does a wonderful job on my Princess. Unlike other groomers Linda doesn't overbook where the dogs are sitting in the cage for hours on end or being there all day waiting their turn. Always has been 2-3 hours tops since I have been bringing her here. We love A Decked Out Pet! Princess always looke and smells amazing and the products she uses keep her smelling good for a week or two after. I highly recommend her for all your grooming needs! ? ? ?“

“I came in to acquire if they could groom my pet goat (silly request I'm aware) but I was shocked by the sheer kindness and understanding of the owner when she told me that they normally wouldn't do it, but since I named my goat Mr. TInkleberg she said to bring em inSeeing a goat in a bathtub was a first for me but hilarious and to top it off, we dyed em green for st Patrick's dayI will never forget my experience here. If I had a dog, I'd def bring them in“

“My husband and I love Sakonnet grooming! We used to bring our bernese mix to a different groomer in the Warren/Bristol area & he would shake and not want to get out of the car. We unfortunately attributed this to him not liking the groomers.But thankfully we decided to try Sakonnet and he has done a total 180 with how he reacts to the groomers. He absolutely loves going there & you can tell that they really care about animals, especially the owner.I feel awful for bringing him to that other place for so long where he was clearly mistreated based on how terrified he would get.But I definitely recommend sakonnet grooming! Such a great place with great staff“

“Like a private experience to bathe your own dog. Affordable, had all of the tools necessary. I didn't have to bend over and get my entire bathroom soaked. Will definitely come again. The owner showed me how to use the soap dispensing nozzle on the shower attachment. Also showed me the different features of the dryer. Only downside was picking my 50lb to put on the shower.“

“I’ve been going to sakonnet vet for yearrrssss. First with a cat, then a small dog and now my big German Shepard. The stuff are nothing short of amazing. Always super friendly and caring both of our fury children and of us. They were all saints when I was pregnant and struggling with my large German Shepard.Only downfall is, the availability of appointments. But that is not their fault ! The number of vets out there is just low. I’m so thankful that we found them and have them.“
