Sauna Carpediem is a welcoming space for men to relax and enjoy the present moment. Operating for over 20 years, it caters to a diverse clientele of all ages. Crowd is definitely older, and it's the smallest sauna I have even been, but it's a friendly place and very clean. Both wet sauna and dry sauna are great. Nice hot tub. The living rooms are awesome too! The movies were also up to date and fun to watch. The dark room was fun. You could totally take a nap in the rooms. The music was so good and relaxing. I went there for fun but I have no regret, I still managed to have fun. I'm 32. Also free parking at the back +1. Honestly, good job guys. You should try to find a way to attract a younger crowd but other than that it was perfect!
There's nothing medical about it, probably therapeutic depending on your experience. It's a gay sauna where guys come to have their cheap thrills. The crowd tends to be on the geriatric side age-wise, and suburban (nothing wrong with that). The place looks like it has gone through an intensive and extensive renovation. It's a small-scale sauna, with a small steam room, a small dry sauna and a Jacuzzi that barely fits three people. It has two video rooms, one with mainstream gay adult videos, the other, strangely, has transsexual porn. It also has a dark room where a lot of things happen; rubbers and lube are available. You get a free bottle of water or a free coffee included in the admission fee, and there are other snacks available for sale. The place is extremely clean, it has a few cabins for private activity, lockers, and free parking. It opens at noon, and that's when the first ave of customers come to "relax" during their lunch time, the second wave is after 5pm . Do not expect young, taut and muscular things, rather get ready for a parade of dad bods ready to play. The customer service is friendly, particularly the older, short, gray-haired receptionist. It's an alternative if you're not into the tattooed and pierced crowd you see in Montreal, like I said, the crowd is made up mostly by playful grandpas, lustful dads and everything in between. I'd give it five stars if they got rid of the transsexual porn (quite frankly, it's weird and a turnoff) and replace it with more gay-themed videos or at least some bi fun, to cater to every taste.
Frankly very impressed, I won't say more because to deprive them they say that it makes the stars of other saunas fade, in terms of quality of experience, cleanliness, quality of the rooms, quality of the installations, very modern, use them do an impeccable job and the atmosphere that it creates is not seen at other saunas, congratulations to the management and all
