Hellpoint takes the very best parts of the souls games and does it in a ridley scott style. The exploration of Dark Souls, the eldritch horror of bloodborne, and the tension and atmospheric depth of demons souls. The combat is fun and deep, and the larger mystery is interesting.
I play this late at night with headphones to not wake the kids. scared the crap out of me twice last night.
Cradle Games has really knocked this one out of the park, and do not get the credit they deserve for this one, especially for the an indie publisher.
