About YMCA Ouest-de-l'Île - Les YMCA du Québec
YMCA Ouest-de-l'Île - Les YMCA du Québec offers a variety of classes such as aquafit, interval training, Zumba, and spinning, with members enjoying the convenience of free equipment like squash rackets and access to facilities including a pool, sauna, shower, gym, boxing bag, running strip, squash court, biking room, dance room, and stretching area. The facility is well-maintained and regularly cleaned. Membership includes small shop options for food and drinks, but parking is limited, and some equipment like the boxing mat and couch require extra payment. While some find booking classes on the website challenging and note limited equipment or the absence of energy drinks, most members appreciate the good gym experience and the variety of amenities offered.
Just joined for the summer and they have Great Classes: Wednesday Aquafit in the evening, and Interval training and Zumba Classes. Trying Spinning class next and will try the other classes. Was looking for classes only at a gym. The only small thing: it is really hard to book aqua or spinning classes for weekends as they are full. I heard at times there are openings but people forget to cancel. Also the website is a little not user friendly to book and cancel classes.
Very happy I joined.
The staff is friendly and the place is clean but the parking is always full so members have to find a spot in the shopping mall behind and they keep back entrance closed. No place to sit down while your kids are playing in the gymnasium so parents are staring at their kids through two small windows crammed up in the hallways.
I’ve read all these comments and I agree to disagree,I’ve been going here for the past year now and this is what I’ve noticed: the facility is cleaned almost daily, equipments are in shape (and free) example the rackets for squash, table tennis equipment and more, they seem to never run out of toilet paper lol, and the gym provides you with a free sauna shower, pool, boxing bag, gym, running strip, squash court biking room, dance room, stretching area, locker rooms small shop for food/drinks and so much more. All of this included in your yearly, monthly or even day pass. (P.S there’s a Popeyes 5 min walk away for supplements) About the Negatives: parking is limited, boxing mat and couch is extra pay (understandable), small range of equipment, and no energy drinks
