I loved this place at first when MIKE did my nails, I called yesterday to get MIKE to do my nails and they said he was there, he wasn’t there so I had no choice but to book with someone else. This would have had 5 stars if MIKE still worked here. He did the best job on my nails out of every nail salon out there that I’ve tried. I’m very sad he’s not there anymore. I like my new nails but it wasn’t perfect like when Mike did them.

This was my first visit at Dahlia (today). They kindly phoned me back to let me know a spot became available for a manicure refill. Admittedly, I was 6 minutes late to the appointment. The people at the front desk were kind and polite. My manicure turned out great in the end - although I had to ask (kindly) 2-3 times to file the nails down so they would all be the same length and shape…
I was rushed from the moment I got there, even as I tried to put my bags down, and again while looking through the mountain of colour options. I was even told to look through the vast options with one hand so she could begin the other.

I haven't had my nails done in a long time. I went because I was gifted a certificate.Prior to this visit I have been to Dahlia's one other time. The reception staff was efficient and accommodating. It was peak hour on a Friday at 6 p.m. and they had space for a shellac! Bonus!
The establishment was clean, lots of staff to serve the customers. They still have the COVID plexi partitions up which makes communication difficult, but I understand it's probably best to keep them up. There are TV's and music and lots of activity so it's definitely not a "spa" atmosphere. Important to note some customers are looking for a different vibe.
