“We went to the spa at Chateau Montebello for a one hour therapeutic massage. We were very impressed with their efficiency and friendliness. Sylvie at the front desk was amazing! Very personable. We bought a package from Travelzoo that included our massages as well as a $50 voucher for the restaurant and a free glass of sparkling wine or a mimosa after the massage. We would not hesitate to go back for a massage.
Following our massages we went to the restaurant for lunch. I’m sad to say that the restaurant was an utter disappointment, particularly for a hotel of this calibre. I would rate our lunch as a 4/10. Both of our meals were a disappointment. The menu had very few options (which is fine when you get a quality meal…but this was not it). The broth in the French onion soup was bland. We ordered a side of fries as well. Both our meals were tepid and the fries soggy. The fries were supposed to come with an aioli sauce. What was served was plain mayonnaise. I would NOT eat there again.”
